It was a beautiful sunny day in Malibu. We stood under the Chuppah Mike and I were married under, the tags of our wedding date and now the tag from Dayvia's naming date blowing in the ocean breeze. It was the perfect day to gather family together to bless our daughter and give her the name she will associate with her Jewish heritage. This will be the name she uses at Hebrew school, the name she uses when she has her Bat- Mitzvah, and at every occasion of life where Hebrew prayers are said- she will be called Dalya.
