Woah.
We spent the day relaxing at home. Mike surprised me with a flower and balloon shmorgishbord (spelling?). He got me my favorite coffee and muffins and we spent the morning cuddled up on the couch watching SNL. Then he brought my favorite salad home for lunch and we ate and...relaxed some more.
The evening was not as relaxing- but very fulfilling.
We spent the early evening speaking to pregnant couples about postpartum. Our childbirth teacher Julie asked us to come to her new class and demonstrate how to give a baby a bath, and also talk to the couples about what it's like to be a new parent! After spending months in her class learning about childbirth and baby care... it felt surreal being there with our BABY!
It was the perfect way to spend Mother's day.
