Bubba Zellie and Grandpa Howard came in for Father's Day, we celebrated with dinner in the backyard- sharing stories of our dads and being grateful for all they do for us.
Our good friends and newlyweds Kath and Joe came in from Colorado to stay the weekend with us. We went to the Trevor Hall/Michael Franti concert on friday night, spent the day swimming on saturday, dinner saturday night followed by an evening at home of charades, and then more rest and swimming on sunday. Joe and Kath introduced world cup soccer to Dayvia… she's not a fan of watching it, but she will kick the soccer ball around in the backyard as she shouts "kick kick kick".
And The Gorman family (Rachel, Erin, and Liam) visited from Brooklyn! I haven't seen Rachel since HIGH SCHOOL! She looks exactly the same… but with bangs, and a baby on her hip. :)
We went on a double date with Rachel and Erin one night sans babies and got to catch up and eat a great cajun meal SLOWLY! And the next day the kids met. I think Day and Liam would be good friends if we lived closer, they were instant friends!
This month had some challenges too- mainly me getting Coxsackie virus (hand/foot/mouth disease)- what?!?!

First of all- it's rare for adults to get it, second of all… Dayvia didn't even get it! Luckily, I just got a mild case, so it wasn't too bad, but still very annoying!
